Filmed with unrestricted backstage access during YES’s 35th Anniversary Tour in 2003 and 2004, Close to the Edge of Reason isn’t another history of the band. It’s an affectionate, observational journey into the wonderfully eccentric world that existed just beyond the stage.

Standing just outside the mythology, filmmaker Robert Garofalo quietly observes the strange, funny and often surreal universe surrounding one of rock’s most ambitious bands.
