Antiquarian, Barry Walker had a theory
He believed that clues left behind by the Knights Templar could point towards a story that conventional history had overlooked — perhaps even towards the fate of the legendary Templar treasure.
Exactly what Barry believed was not always easy to pin down. His theory evolved through years of research, interpretation and an extraordinary fascination with the symbols, buildings and places associated with the Order.

Historian Dr Nick Barratt joined the investigation as Barry’s ideas were put to the test. Across six episodes, the team travelled to Templar sites, investigated underground structures, examined ancient carvings and symbolism, and used modern technology including ground-penetrating radar to search for physical evidence.
Some trails led somewhere. Others didn’t.
But the investigation uncovered a much bigger story — one that ultimately reaches beyond the medieval Knights Templar and into the traditions and symbolism of Freemasonry.

You don’t need an account to browse our products. To join and watch, you can create an account, by entering your email, chosen username and password. Once you have an account, you can choose either a monthly or annual subscription, and these are automatically renewed. If you don’t wish to subscribe, you can purchase a 90 day access plan and watch everything, or you can just choose a title and rent it for 3 days, or choose to rent it indefinitely. All options are open when you have opened your account then click to view.
To rent a film or series, you don’t need a subscription plan, but you do need to Sign Up for a Free Account. This will enable you to Browse and select the film or series you wish to rent. All rentals are listed in the dropdown under your username; and can also be found in ‘My Account’. Rentals can be streamed for 72 hours as many times as you wish. Of You can select a lifetime rental and view this title indefinitely.
