Stevie Wonder is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. He was born Stevland Hardaway Morris on May13, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan. Wonder showed his musical talent at a very young age and signed his first recording contract at the age of 11. He went on to release a number of hit songs, including "Superstition", "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours", and won numerous awards including 25 Grammy Awards and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Wonder has also been an advocate for social and political causes, such as the American Civil Rights Movement and the Anti-Apartheid Movement in South Africa. Despite being blind since shortly after his birth, Stevie Wonder's music has touched and inspired many around the world.
