This film chronicles the ultimate demise of Hitler’s legendary west wall, dubbed by the allies as the ‘Siegfried Line’. The West Wall was a tremendous barrier of fortified defences and minefields, protecting Germany from invasion through Europe. In 1944, this line of defence was crushed, when following the D Day landings; the allied troops fought their way relentlessly to cross the line into Germany.
Covering much more than the familiar Palace Gate action, this film contains operational footage from the Falklands, the Peterhead Prison rescue, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Columbia, Borneo, Mirbat, Malaya, Libyan Embassy, Iraq and Jebel Akhdar.
As well as an informative ‘Snapper’ this film also features veterans of previous SAS campaigns, and has an interview with Andy McNab, who tells the story of his capture and incarceration.
