Narrated by Joss Ackland & music by Rick Wakeman, this is a unique film on the life of the man dubbed ‘The Wickedest Man in the World’ the infamous Aleister Crowley. He was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century.

Given the subject matter it could have been interesting and educational or absolute rubbish. Fortunately it went with interesting.
The big selling point is that the narration, at times, feels like a stage performance piece and is really just as earnest. So, honestly, the best part of the documentary is the delivery, and that makes for a fairly unique piece in any catalogue of documentaries.
